Behind the camera
About Me
I started my journey as a photographer in 2016 when I was in high-school. I was taking a graphic design course in hopes of becoming an animator. However, there was a photography unit within the course, which helped me discover I had some natural talent behind a camera.
In the fall of 2016 I began my college semester in Journalism, in hopes to become a writer/poet. Once again, however, the course had a class in photography - photojournalism. This course helped me realize my passion of photography.
Throughout my time in school, I discovered that photography gave me more joy and fulfillment than any other career I had considered/ventured into at the time. Everything, from shooting, to editing, to the satisfaction of delivering on final product and seeing how happy people were when they received their photos had just encapsulated my interest. I decided to leave the Journalism program in hopes of building up the skills and experience necessary to become a photographer full-time.
Since then I have shot just about anything and everything. From portraits, to graduations, to food, sports, automotive, landscapes, and just about everything in between. I'm always looking forward to my next shoot, and equally as excited to learn new styles of shooting!
